A delegation from the Ukrainian Red Cross visited the British Red Cross to share experiences in providing healthcare services
Representatives of the Ukrainian Red Cross attended the annual meeting of the British Red Cross Mental Health and Psychosocial Support Team. During the meeting, our colleagues had the opportunity to learn about the specifics of mental health and psychosocial support in the UK and gain insight into the services provided by the British Red Cross. In particular, they explored training programmes for the public, the process of commercialising training for businesses and the private sector—conducted as part of mandatory training in accordance with British law—and presented the work of the Ukrainian Red Cross in the field of mental health and psychosocial support.
During the visit, the Ukrainian team learned about innovative approaches to medical programmes aimed at supporting vulnerable populations in the UK and new strategies for developing commercial initiatives to expand access to quality healthcare services.
This visit strengthened the partnership and collaboration between the Ukrainian Red Cross and the British Red Cross in joint humanitarian projects to support the community.
