Representatives from the Yuzhnoukrainsk city branch of the Ukrainian Red Cross participated in the “Improving Leadership Skills” training
From 29 to 31 August 2024, in Kyiv, the Danish Red Cross conducted a training session on “Improving Leadership Skills” for members of the Ukrainian Red Cross. Representatives from the Yuzhnoukrainsk City Branch actively participated in the training.
During the training, the following topics were studied and discussed:
- Building an effective team based on trust and task delegation;
- Different styles and roles of leadership;
- The distinction between a leader and a manager;
- Characteristics of an effective leader;
- Meeting culture and tools;
- Systems for identifying and enhancing motivation;
The training was extremely informative and engaging, leaving participants eager to attend again to capture every detail. It will help strengthen and develop the local volunteer teams. In the Ukrainian Red Cross, volunteers are the driving force of the organisation.
