Assistance to those affected by the attack on the capital on the night of 2 September
The attack caused debris to fall in several districts of Kyiv. In particular, the glass elements of the entrance to the Sviatoshyn metro station were partially damaged, and a nearby stall was on fire. The blast wave also damaged nearby buildings.
The team from the Sviatoshynskyi district branch of the Ukrainian Red Cross, alongside representatives from the Sviatoshynskyi District State Administration, the Department of Social and Veteran Policy, and the Right to Protection Charitable Foundation, set up a support centre in a library. Here, they assessed the needs of those affected, distributed humanitarian aid, and provided tea and sweets.
