20,000 Food Parcels Distributed in Kherson in April
In Kherson, despite constant shelling, volunteers of the Kherson regional branch of the Ukrainian Red Cross distributed over 20,000 food parcels to city residents through the World Food Programme.
«Since January 2024, the Ukrainian Red Cross, in collaboration with the World Food Programme, has been supporting vulnerable individuals in Kherson. Humanitarian aid, in the form of food parcels, is provided to those aged over 60 and individuals with disabilities. We firmly believe that providing basic food is a crucial support for the population during these challenging times,» stated Larysa Marchenko, Head of the Kherson Regional Branch of the Ukrainian Red Cross.
