Information sessions on communicating with people with disabilities held for educators in Kamianske

The Ukrainian Red Cross Physical Rehabilitation and Social Adaptation programme team held a series of information sessions in Kamianske for education professionals on communicating with people with disabilities.

Participants included teachers, early years educators and representatives of school administrations.

During the sessions, participants learned about respectful communication and ethical interactions with people with disabilities, explored the psychological aspects of communication, and discussed practical case studies on providing assistance and creating a comfortable, inclusive learning environment.

These activities help raise awareness, promote barrier-free environments and foster an inclusive culture in which everyone feels accepted and valued and has equal opportunities to participate in community life.
