Kharkiv region: support for people and their pets

For many people, pets are part of the family. During forced displacement, caring for them remains an important part of everyday life.

In Kharkiv, the Ukrainian Red Cross, in partnership with Humane World for Animals, continues to support internally displaced people who have pets. Through the programme, families can receive essential supplies to care for their cats and dogs, including pet food, parasite treatments, pet carriers, leads, collars and other necessities.
