Kyiv: The Ukrainian Red Cross responds to the aftermath of an overnight attack
The emergency response team of the National Committee of the Ukrainian Red Cross joined the response efforts at the site of the attack in Kyiv’s Holosiivskyi district.
Volunteers carried out an assessment of the area around the damaged building, providing first aid to two injured people and psychological first aid to three people experiencing acute stress reactions.
According to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, the Russian attack overnight on 8 September caused damage and fires in at least five districts of Kyiv — Holosiivskyi, Solomianskyi, Darnytskyi, Podilskyi and Dniprovskyi. Ten people are currently reported to have been injured, while two people were killed.
