Kharkiv: The Ukrainian Red Cross responds at the site of another attack
Yesterday, the Ukrainian Red Cross emergency response team in the Kharkiv region worked at all affected sites following another attack on Kharkiv, alongside other emergency services. Volunteers carried out assessments of the surrounding areas and the damaged shopping centre, and provided the necessary assistance to those affected.
Volunteers provided first aid to three injured people and handed them over to medical personnel for further medical care.
According to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, one person was killed and five others were injured as a result of the Russian attack on a shopping centre in Kharkiv’s Osnovianskyi district. A Russian UAV struck the shopping centre, partially damaging the building’s structures and causing a fire covering an area of 300 square metres.
