The Ukrainian Red Cross implements the “Building the Future Together” programme, which supports adolescents in developing life skills, exploring their identity, and planning for the future
The programme is designed for young people aged 14–17 and helps them better understand their values, take responsibility for their lives, set personal goals, and find motivation to make positive changes. It is currently being implemented in 11 regions of Ukraine, and more than 3,500 adolescents have taken part since the beginning of the year.
In Vinnytsia, the “Building the Future Together” programme is currently being delivered at the Kvadrat Youth Centre. Through interactive group sessions, adolescents have the opportunity to learn more about themselves, develop communication skills, work with their emotions, identify their strengths, and discover their inner resources. The sessions take place in a safe and supportive environment and combine learning, discussion, creative exercises, and peer interaction.
For the Ukrainian Red Cross, it is important to create spaces where adolescents can be heard, receive support, and develop the skills they need to shape their own futures.
