Irshava: A New Space for Support, Learning and Community Initiatives

The Ukrainian Red Cross Community Center has officially opened in Irshava.

The Center is an open and welcoming space for community members, where they can access social and psychosocial support, take part in training, group activities and other initiatives. The Center provides access to social counselling and hosts activities for children and adults, as well as first aid training. The Center also features a youth space, volunteer initiatives, an assistive device loan service, a clothing bank and a community canteen.

The Community Center’s opening and ongoing activities have been made possible with support from the Austrian Red Cross and the Finnish Red Cross.
