In Khmelnytskyi region, children with special educational needs learned what to do if they get lost

Representatives of the Ukrainian Red Cross Tracing and Restoring Family Links Service took part in an annual social project for children with special educational needs and their families, held in Khmelnytskyi. During the event, specialists organised an interactive activity featuring themed “What to Do If You Get Lost” colouring sheets developed by the Ukrainian Red Cross team.

Through fun and engaging activities, participants learned what to do if they get lost, who to turn to for help, why it is important to know their personal information, and how to stay safe in crowded places. In addition to the educational activities, children took part in a creative workshop, where they made themed cards and reinforced what they had learned in an engaging and interactive way.

These preventive activities help children develop safe behaviour skills and prepare them to respond to unexpected situations, while also reminding parents of the importance of taking steps to prepare their children in advance for such situations.
