Over 109,000 veteran requests processed in more than two years of operation

How can veterans apply for benefits? Where can they receive psychological support? Who can they contact to access programmes, services and other forms of assistance? Every day, veterans seek answers to these and many other questions that affect their well-being and quality of life after returning from service.

To help veterans find the information and support they need more quickly, the Ukrainian Red Cross, in partnership with the Ministry of Veterans Affairs of Ukraine, established the Unified Veterans Hotline.

Since its launch more than two years ago, hotline specialists have processed over 109,500 calls.

Each call provides support with:

  • finding and applying for benefits and services;
  • receiving step-by-step guidance on one-off financial assistance and disability pensions related to war;
  • accessing medical or psychological support;
  • resolving housing, legal and other issues.

When it is difficult to navigate available services and opportunities independently, call 1528.

Our operators not only provide the necessary information but also assess callers’ needs and help identify where to seek further support based on each individual request.

The Unified Veterans Hotline operates every day from 08:00 to 20:00. All calls are free of charge.
