Ukrainian Red Cross and Superhumans Sign Memorandum of Cooperation
The Ukrainian Red Cross and the Superhumans War Trauma Centre have signed a Memorandum of Cooperation during the Ukraine Recovery Conference 2026, held this year in Gdańsk.
The memorandum sets out the parties’ commitment to join forces in establishing the National War Trauma Hospital – the first multidisciplinary centre in Ukraine and Europe dedicated to the comprehensive treatment, rehabilitation and research of war-related trauma. The initiative will be implemented in partnership with the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.
The cooperation will cover the planning and development of the hospital, the implementation of joint humanitarian and awareness-raising initiatives, support for people affected by the war, and the development of a modern system of rehabilitation, prosthetic care, reconstructive surgery, psychological support, and social reintegration.
The signing of the memorandum marks an important step in strengthening a modern system of support for people affected by the war. By combining the Ukrainian Red Cross’s humanitarian experience with Superhumans’ expertise in war trauma care, the parties will work together to ensure that more people across Ukraine can access comprehensive support, recover their health, and return to active and fulfilling lives.
