Ukrainian Red Cross Team Among Finalists of the ICA Compliance Awards Europe 2026

The Ukrainian Red Cross has been named a finalist in one of Europe’s most prestigious compliance awards — the ICA Compliance Awards Europe 2026, organised by the International Compliance Association.

The Ukrainian Red Cross is shortlisted in two categories:

• Compliance Leader of the Year — recognising leadership in compliance
• Compliance Team of the Year (Non-Financial Services) — recognising the best compliance team outside the financial sector

For the Ukrainian humanitarian organisation, this is an important international recognition and confirmation that its approaches to transparency, accountability, and risk management meet leading European standards.

Over 2024–2025, the Ukrainian Red Cross developed a fully functioning compliance and risk management system, including clear processes, internal standards, and control mechanisms.

For a humanitarian organisation, compliance goes far beyond regulatory adherence. It is the foundation of trust with partners, donors, and the people we support. It ensures that assistance is delivered transparently, effectively, and to those who need it most.

This achievement reflects the work of a team that demonstrates every day that even in the context of full-scale war, it is possible to build strong, modern institutions that meet European standards.
