Modern Approaches to Emergency Response Practised in Rivne Region
The Ukrainian Red Cross emergency response team in the Rivne region took part in a training exercise for community rescue officers focused on the use of modern technologies in civil protection and emergency response.
During the training, participants practised the use of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) for aerial reconnaissance, the detection of explosive hazards, and the delivery of essential supplies to hard-to-reach areas. Together with representatives of the Ukrainian Red Cross, they also strengthened their skills in first aid and casualty transportation.
Such exercises help develop professional skills, promote the exchange of experience between services, and strengthen communities’ preparedness to respond to emergencies.
