A lessons learned workshop for the REDpreneurUA programme was held in Kyiv
On 3 June, a lessons learned workshop for the REDpreneurUA programme was held in Kyiv, bringing together representatives of the local and regional branches of the Ukrainian Red Cross from across Ukraine.
During the workshop, participants analysed their experience of implementing social enterprises, shared successful practices, and discussed the challenges they faced while launching and developing social initiatives.
The REDpreneurUA programme created opportunities for local and regional branches of the Ukrainian Red Cross to receive financial support, training, and mentoring for the establishment of social enterprises. Participation in the programme also helped organisations strengthen their resilience and expand their capacity to provide social services to people most in need of support.
Throughout the workshop, participants worked in thematic groups dedicated to the grant component, financial management, marketing, legal issues, partnerships, operational processes, and impact assessment.
As a result of the meeting, participants identified key success factors, discussed ways to overcome barriers, and developed recommendations for future social entrepreneurship support programmes.
Such events contribute to strengthening the capacity of local Ukrainian Red Cross branches and to developing sustainable mechanisms for supporting communities across Ukraine.
The REDpreneurUA programme is implemented by the Ukrainian Red Cross in partnership with the Austrian Red Cross and with support from the NACHBAR IN NOT foundation.
