Over 32,000 “Danger! Mines” warning signs handed over to SESU units in Dnipro region
Mines are an invisible threat that remains a daily reality. Even in areas that appear safe, danger may still be present. That is why the Ukrainian Red Cross continues to support communities through its mine risk education activities.
The Dnipro regional branch of the Ukrainian Red Cross has handed over 32,600 “Danger! Mines” warning signs to units of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine (SESU). The assistance was provided with support from the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies.
These warning signs will be installed in potentially hazardous areas across the region. Each sign serves as:
- a clear signal to stop and not go any further;
- a way to recognise hidden danger in time;
- a chance to save lives — your own and those of others.
We thank our partners and emergency responders for their joint efforts to keep people safe.
Safety reminder: If you notice a suspicious object or a mine warning sign:
- Do not approach!
- Do not touch!
- Call 101 or 112 immediately!
Stay safe.
Together, we are making communities safer.
