A Psychosocial Support Club for Women Opens in Poltava under the Reboot Programme

Since February, Poltava has hosted the psychological support group “Soulful Women’s Circle” — a new format for women participating in the Reboot programme. The initiative was led by psychologist Tamara Koval, who notes that women most often attend group sessions and express a need for additional spaces for communication and mutual support.

Although the club is still very new, it has already become a platform for thematic meetings and creative activities. Participants held a poetry day in a creative circle, sharing favourite works by Shevchenko, and on International Day of Happiness, they discussed how true happiness lies not in distant travels, but in family health and peace in the country.

The women also take part in creative exercises, working with imagery and association cards, expressing their moods through drawing, and completing artistic tasks to restore inner resources. At the heart of all activities is support, a trusting atmosphere, and the opportunity to speak openly about their feelings and share experiences.

All participants are united by a desire for self-development. Most have already completed, or are currently undertaking, training or retraining through the Reboot programme. In wartime, when men are serving, women seek ways to support their families, overcome loneliness, and ensure financial stability.

As the weather warms up, meetings are planned to take place outdoors, continuing to provide a supportive environment where women can recover, feel their value, and share support with others.
