“I live alone and have no family” – Winter Cash Assistance in Kyiv Region

Winter Cash Assistance under the Home-Based Care Programme helps people stay safe and warm during winter when they need extra support.

Nina Matvienko lives alone in Bortnychi. Due to health issues, she rarely leaves home and feels the cold of winter especially sharply. Thanks to winter cash assistance and the support of a social care assistant, she can stay warm and meet her everyday needs.
