Almost 260 visits — the first results of the work of the Ukrainian Red Cross mobile rehabilitation units in the Odesa region
Since July 2025, mobile rehabilitation units of the Ukrainian Red Cross have been operating in the Odesa region. Their aim is to make rehabilitation services accessible to people in communities where such support is limited or unavailable.
During this period, specialists carried out 258 visits, providing rehabilitation services to people with a range of conditions — including the consequences of strokes, limb amputations, multiple fractures and other injuries requiring long-term recovery.
Over six months, 61 people from nine towns and villages in the Odesa district received support. Each person was assisted according to an individual plan focused on restoring mobility and improving quality of life.
The mobile rehabilitation units have also begun providing assistive rehabilitation devices free of charge, significantly easing the everyday lives of people with temporary or permanent mobility impairments.
Committed to providing support, fostering recovery and helping people return to an active social life.
