Another tense night for Ukrainians: The Ukrainian Red Cross is providing assistance at the sites of attacks in Dnipro and Mykolaiv

  • Dnipro

Emergency response team volunteers of the Ukrainian Red Cross in the Dnipro region, working alongside rescue services, provided support at the site of the attack on the city.

Volunteers operated in two locations: they conducted door-to-door visits in damaged residential buildings and assisted people who had been rescued after being trapped in their flats, providing them with the necessary aid. They also helped evacuate two elderly individuals, taking them to stay with relatives. First aid was administered to three people with varying degrees of injury, while four others received psychological first aid.

According to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, Russian forces attacked the Dnipro region. Preliminary reports indicate that one person was killed and 13 others injured. The strike caused a fire in a residential building. Private homes, outbuildings, and garages were also damaged, and industrial facilities in the area sustained significant destruction.

  • Mykolaiv

The emergency response team of the Ukrainian Red Cross in the Mykolaiv region provided assistance at the site of the attack. Volunteers supported emergency response efforts at an industrial site.

According to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, Mykolaiv region came under heavy Russian attack involving ballistic missiles and UAVs. Industrial infrastructure was targeted, and fires broke out. Response efforts are ongoing. There is currently no information regarding casualties.
