The SYLA project, funded by the European Union, unites the efforts of the Ukrainian Red Cross, the German Red Cross, the Danish Red Cross, Acted and IMPACT to work hand in hand with communities to help save lives, prepare for emergencies, and recover swiftly to return to normal life. It is being carried out in the Kharkiv, Mykolaiv, Sumy and Zaporizhzhia regions.

During the meeting, participants reviewed the project’s progress and challenges, discussed the findings of a recent field mission, and exchanged views on the security situation in the regions where the project is being implemented. They also discussed coordination mechanisms and agreed on the next steps to enhance cooperation and effectiveness on the ground.

Through joint efforts, the partners are better able to respond to the challenges of the ongoing war and provide meaningful support to affected communities across Ukraine.
