Sumy region: Ukrainian Red Cross volunteers provide assistance at the site of the attack
The Ukrainian Red Cross emergency response team in the Sumy region, alongside other rescue services, worked at the scene of the attack. Volunteers provided first aid to the injured and assisted in transporting the bodies of the deceased.
According to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, at midnight, Russian forces launched a series of strikes on a village within the Verkhnia Syrovatka community, causing fires and widespread destruction in the residential area. Approximately 15 buildings were on fire simultaneously across six private households. Three people have been reported dead and six others injured.
