Kyiv: The Ukrainian Red Cross Assists Victims Following the 6 June Attack

Volunteers from the emergency response team of the National Committee of the Ukrainian Red Cross were deployed to the sites of the attacks in Kyiv. In the Solomianskyi district, volunteers inspected a residential building to identify those in need of assistance, during which they administered first aid to a woman and transferred her to an ambulance crew. They also provided first aid to 11 rescue workers from the State Emergency Service of Ukraine (SESU) who were injured in a follow-up strike.

A Ukrainian Red Cross aid station is operating at the site, offering first aid, psychological first aid, drinking water, tea, and mobile phone charging for those affected.

According to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, on the night of 6 June, Russian forces launched a combined UAV and missile attack on Kyiv. Three SESU responders were killed, and 23 people were injured — including 14 emergency workers.
