Kharkiv: The Ukrainian Red Cross provides on-site assistance following a massive UAV attack
The Ukrainian Red Cross emergency response team in the Kharkiv region is working alongside other services to respond to the aftermath of the Russian attack on Kharkiv. Volunteers are inspecting damaged buildings and surrounding areas to locate victims, providing first aid and psychological first aid to those affected.
In the evening of 26 March, according to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, Russian forces launched a large-scale attack using drone strikes targeting civilian infrastructure and residential areas of Kharkiv. There were four fire incidents, with significant destruction and damage to buildings. As of now, according to the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, 11 people have been injured.
The response to the strike is ongoing.
