The Ukrainian Red Cross has signed a Memorandum to support residents of the Luhansk region

The Ukrainian Red Cross continues to strengthen its cooperation with regions across Ukraine. Recently, our office hosted a meeting with representatives from the Luhansk region, during which a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed with the Department of Social Protection of the Luhansk Regional Military Administration and the Luhansk Regional Clinical Hospital.

This Memorandum marks an important step towards enhancing support for the residents of the Luhansk region and internally displaced persons. Through this collaboration, we aim to:

• Provide increased humanitarian aid to those in need.
• Support hospitals and medical facilities in the region.
• Implement social projects for the local population.

The meeting was attended by:

• Yevhen Poliarush – Head of the Eastern Interregional Office of the Ukrainian Red Cross
• Kateryna Bezghynska – Deputy Head of the Luhansk Regional State Administration
• Olena Polishchuk – Director of the Department of Social Protection, Luhansk Regional State Administration

• Olha Kudaieva – Head of the Luhansk Regional Branch of the Ukrainian Red Cross
