A delegation of defence attachés from Switzerland, Austria, and Poland visited the Ukrainian Red Cross office in Dnipro

The delegation included:

• Lieutenant Colonel Olaf Niederberger – Defence Attaché at the Embassy of Switzerland in Ukraine
• Colonel Georg Dialer – Defence Attaché at the Embassy of the Republic of Austria
• Major Bartosz Wiatrzyk – Deputy Defence Attaché at the Embassy of the Republic of Poland

During the meeting, they discussed the challenging humanitarian situation in the frontline communities of the Dnipro region, particularly in the Nikopol and Synelnykove districts, ongoing support for internally displaced persons, and potential challenges Ukraine may face in the near future.

“We consider various scenarios for how events in Ukraine might unfold and take into account the risks. The only constant is our commitment to assisting the most vulnerable groups,” said Yevhen Poliarush, Head of the Eastern Interregional Office of the Ukrainian Red Cross.
