In September, the Ukrainian Red Cross held ‘Health Days’ in Prykarpattia
During September, the Ukrainian Red Cross conducted ‘Health Days’ in Prykarpattia, where mobile health units made over 130 visits and provided more than 2,000 medical consultations.
On weekdays throughout the month, these mobile health units operated in various parts of the region, ensuring that everyone in need could access basic examinations and consultations. In total, they made 130 visits and consulted 2,163 individuals, including more than 720 internally displaced persons (IDPs) and 18 people with disabilities.
The examinations revealed the following health issues: 829 cases of cardiovascular diseases; 185 cases of endocrine system disorders; 179 cases of acute respiratory infections; 150 cases of musculoskeletal problems; 118 cases of gastrointestinal diseases; 118 cases of respiratory illnesses; 95 cases of ear, nose, and throat (ENT) conditions; and 45 cases of neurological diseases.
Each patient received medical consultations, treatment recommendations, and guidance on their recovery steps.
