The Ukrainian Red Cross has installed 12 additional shelters in the Kherson, Mykolaiv, and Zaporizhzhia regions

With the support of the Ukrainian Red Cross, these 12 mobile shelters have been established to protect people in areas near healthcare facilities, markets, bus stations, public transport stops, and administrative service centres. They will provide safety from blast waves and shrapnel. Each structure has an area of 10 m² and is fitted with seating for 10 to 15 people.

The shelters are located in the following communities: Ochakiv, Ternuvate, Novooleksandrivka, Bilenke, Bilozerka, and Chornobaivka.

The Ukrainian Red Cross implemented this shelter installation project with the financial support of the European Union, the Danish Red Cross in Ukraine and the German Red Cross.
