Mine risk volunteers of the Ukrainian Red Cross, together with the personnel of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Synelnikove, conducted an information event for children

During the event, the specialists taught children in grades 1-4 the basics of safer behaviour when detecting mines or explosive devices, as well as safety rules for emergency situations. They also introduced the children to rescue and firefighting activities.

Special attention was given to the importance of remaining calm and not panicking in critical situations. The instructors emphasised that if dangerous objects are found, they should immediately inform the Rescue Service by calling 101.

Fostering a cautious attitude towards unfamiliar objects and developing safe behaviour skills is crucial for preserving children’s lives and health.
