Emergency preparedness training for communities was held in the Mykolaiv region

The Mykolaiv regional branch of the Ukrainian Red Cross, in collaboration with the National Committee of the Ukrainian Red Cross, organised a series of training sessions for representatives of the Olshanske and Shevchenkove communities.

During the training sessions, participants:

• assessed the threats, risks, and vulnerabilities of the communities;
• created a risk matrix and prepared an emergency preparedness plan;
• conducted training on developing a family emergency plan.

The training was conducted with the support of the Danish Red Cross to enhance the effectiveness of community action in the event of emergencies.
