The Ukrainian Red Cross instructors have started conducting on-site mine risk education sessions in the Zhytomyr region

The events have already been held in educational institutions located in remote amalgamated territorial communities of the region, specifically at the Vaskovychi, Chopovychi, and Ushomyr lyceums. Instructors from the Korosten city branch of the Ukrainian Red Cross educated students about explosive devices, provided examples of dangerous locations, and explained the action protocol to help save lives and protect health in the event of encountering mines and explosive ordnance.

Additionally, the instructors continue to inform residents and employees of enterprises, institutions, and organisations in the district about mine risks.

These activities are carried out as part of the project “Demining Ukraine: Raising Public Awareness of Mine Risk Prevention and Providing Assistance to Victims.”
