Assistance to Those Affected in Sumy Following Attack on Hospital (28 September 2024)

Sumy. Overnight, Russian troops launched two attacks on a medical facility. According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, eight people were killed, and eleven others were injured. A residential building sustained damage, and a hospital ward was destroyed.

The Ukrainian Red Cross emergency response team is on-site, working alongside local emergency services. Volunteers are evacuating individuals and providing both first aid and psychological first aid to the victims.
