YABC humanistic education events are held in the Khmelnytskyi region
YABC (‘Youth as Agents of Behavioural Change’) humanistic education events are held in Khmelnytskyi. These sessions are aimed at promoting a culture of non-violence, peace, and social inclusion within society.
During these sessions, participants are encouraged to first experience a particular situation and then analyse it – essentially, ‘from the heart to the mind. Recently, Active Listening sessions were conducted for medical college students, participants from a team-building event of the Khmelnytskyi regional branch of the Ukrainian Red Cross, and teenagers from frontline areas. Attendees were introduced to the YABC initiative, practised active listening techniques, and learned key verbal and non-verbal communication skills to foster a supportive environment for active listening. Participants left feeling recharged with positive emotions and enriched by the experience.
