Three representatives of the Ukrainian Red Cross were injured during the shelling of Kramatorsk
Today, at around 16:00, another Russian shelling of Kramatorsk, Donetsk region, took place, resulting in injuries to three representatives of the Ukrainian Red Cross.
The explosion occurred near one of the city’s residential buildings, where the Ukrainian Red Cross team was on a humanitarian mission.
As a result of the shelling, the volunteer sustained shrapnel wounds to her leg. She was immediately taken to a medical facility where she is scheduled to undergo surgery.
The head of the Kramatorsk city branch of the Ukrainian Red Cross and the driver were also in the car and were injured.
The Ukrainian Red Cross continues its mission to provide assistance to the civilian population despite the danger posed by the ongoing war in the country!
We stand in support of our injured colleagues and their families, and we categorically condemn the shelling of humanitarian organisations and the violations of international humanitarian law.
