The Ukrainian Red Cross specialists underwent a series of training sessions on implementing cash support programmes for the population
Participants from 23 regional branches across Ukraine were trained as part of a programme to enhance the capacity of these branches in cash and voucher assistance:
- From 3 to 5 September, training was conducted for the Western, Central, and Northern regions to improve operational readiness and skills.
- From 10 to 12 September, teams from the Eastern and Southern regions received training focused on enhancing their readiness to implement real projects set to begin in September-October 2024 as part of the Winter Preparedness 2024-2025 programme.
At the same time, participants deepened their knowledge of project management, covering areas such as proposal development, standard operating procedures (SOPs), budgeting, risk mapping, coordination, monitoring, and reporting.
Particular attention was given to the use of digital solutions and working with CRM systems to enhance the efficiency and transparency of cash programme management.
The training was conducted with the support of the British Red Cross and the Danish Red Cross.
