The Director General of the Ukrainian Red Cross calls for support for Ukraine at a charity event in Canada

The Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce hosted a charity event titled “Partners in Humanity: An Evening with the Ukrainian Red Cross,” featuring representatives from the Ukrainian World Congress (UWC), the Ukrainian Canadian Congress (UCC), and the Canada-Ukraine Foundation (CUF). 

Maksym Dotsenko, Director General of the Ukrainian Red Cross, Conrad Sauvé, President and CEO of the Canadian Red Cross, and Yuliya Kovaliv, Ambassador of Ukraine to Canada, addressed the ongoing war and humanitarian situation in Ukraine. They also discussed the challenges posed by the coming winter, which are exacerbated by constant attacks, including those on energy infrastructure.
