Firefighters from the Main Directorate of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Mykolaiv region received 40 kits, those in the Rivne region received 36 kits, and firefighters in the Kharkiv region received 17 kits.
These kits contain the most essential equipment used by firefighters when extinguishing fires. In total, there are more than 10 items, including special suits, personal protective equipment, fire blankets, and other essential gear.
The State Emergency Service of Ukraine is a constant and reliable partner with whom the Ukrainian Red Cross has been cooperating for many years across the country, supporting first responders during emergencies and providing prompt assistance to victims.
The leadership of the regional military administrations, as well as local and volunteer fire brigades, expressed their gratitude to the representatives of the Mykolaiv, Rivne, and Kharkiv regional branches of the Ukrainian Red Cross for their assistance, as these kits are essential for firefighters’ work.
