Assistance at the site of the attack on Kharkiv on 16 September 2024
Kharkiv: Another attack on the city has resulted in damage to a multi-storey apartment building. Over 40 people, including children, have been injured. Rescue operations are ongoing, with teams working to clear debris and rescue individuals who may be trapped.
Alongside the city’s services, an emergency response team from the Kharkiv regional branch of the Ukrainian Red Cross is on-site. Volunteers have evacuated the injured and residents from damaged buildings, assisted medical staff, provided first aid, and offered psychological first aid.
