Assistance to Those Affected in Konotop
As a result of a Russian drone attack on the city of Konotop during the night of 11-12 September, 14 people were injured, including two in serious condition. The attack also damaged seven multi-storey buildings, one private house, a hospital, an educational institution, cars, garages, a shop, and a bank.
Volunteers from the Ukrainian Red Cross joined the response efforts, providing psychological first aid to the victims. On 12 September, the Konotop local branch of the Ukrainian Red Cross set up a tent at the emergency site and organised the distribution of tarpaulins and plastic sheeting to those whose homes were damaged. Today, volunteers will continue working at the site to provide assistance and gather information on the needs of the affected population.
