The Ukrainian Red Cross has handed over 63 sets of protective clothing and primary fire extinguishing equipment to firefighters in the Khmelnytskyi region

Oleksii Borodai, Head of the Civil Protection Unit of the Disaster Management Department of the Ukrainian Red Cross, along with Serhii Tiurin, Head of the Khmelnytskyi Regional Military Administration, and Eduard Bratko, Head of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Khmelnytskyi region, handed over the logistics support kits to firefighters during a working meeting in the Khmelnytskyi region. These kits will be distributed among local and volunteer fire brigades to enhance their operational effectiveness and response capabilities.

It should be noted that the Ukrainian Red Cross in the Khmelnytskyi region is now part of the Unified State System of Civil Protection.

Additionally, during the event, the Khmelnytskyi Regional Military Administration awarded a commendation to the Ukrainian Red Cross team for its significant contribution to the development of voluntary and local fire services.
