In the Sumy region, 700 more people have been informed about the risk of mines

Volunteers from the Sumy regional branch of the Ukrainian Red Cross conducted 73 mine risk information sessions in August. As a result, approximately 700 additional people have learned the rules for safer behaviour when encountering explosive devices. Special attention has been given to educating children.

Currently, the Sumy region remains one of the most heavily mined areas in Ukraine. Consequently, mine risk education is vital as it provides essential information that can help people avoid accidents and potentially save lives in hazardous situations.
