In Kamianske, mine risk instructors held an information session for primary school students

Understanding the threat of landmines is crucial, as knowing the basic rules of behaviour in the presence of explosive hazards can prevent accidents, injuries, and even fatalities. This is especially important for children, whose curiosity may put them at greater risk.

The Ukrainian Red Cross has a team of mine risk instructors dedicated to educating people nationwide about the appearance of explosive devices and the appropriate actions to take if encountered.

Recently, in Kamianske, Dnipro region, the instructors conducted an interactive information session for primary school children. Recognising the age of the participants, the session included numerous game elements to help them better understand the dangers of mines and the steps to take if they come across one.
