In August, seven mobile health units of the Ukrainian Red Cross provided nearly 2,300 medical consultations in remote communities across the Lviv region

The specialists delivered primary medical care to residents of the Bibrka, Sudova Vyshnia, Khodoriv, Medenychi, Radekhiv, Strilky, and Pidkamin communities.

Each unit comprises a family doctor, a nurse, and a driver. They visit communities with limited access to medical services.

During these visits, the mobile unit specialists consult and examine individuals’ health, measure blood pressure, blood sugar, and oxygen levels, prescribe treatment regimens to address health conditions, and, if necessary, make referrals to specialists.

Over the past month, 2,267 people, including 215 children, in 135 towns and villages across the region have benefited from the services of the mobile health units.

We stand by those in need and continue our work to support them!
