Six mobile health units provide access to primary healthcare in remote communities in the Ivano-Frankivsk region
Specialists from mobile health units offer daily medical consultations to residents of the Ivano-Frankivsk region and internally displaced persons who have found refuge there. Services include measuring blood pressure, oxygen saturation, and blood glucose levels, as well as providing over-the-counter medicines and primary healthcare.
In August 2024 alone, the units provided medical consultations to 2,145 individuals, including internally displaced persons. It is important to note that their work in the region is supported by the Japanese Red Cross.
