Teaching Self-Support and Emotional Management: Psychoeducation Sessions Held in Krasnohrad
Instructors from the Krasnohrad district and Kharkiv regional branches of the Ukrainian Red Cross conducted psychoeducation sessions on “Anger Management and Self-Help” and “Aggression and Ways to Overcome It” for the staff and beneficiaries of the Territorial Centre of Krasnohrad City Council.
Participants acquired new knowledge, which they reinforced through practical exercises, and gained a deeper understanding of themselves and their emotions. The sessions concluded with a relaxing creative exercise designed to relieve tension and foster inner peace.
These events are crucial, as many people face stress from shelling, loss, and uncertainty. Prolonged stress can negatively affect both mental and physical health, making it essential to teach skills for self-support and emotional management.
