The Ukrainian Red Cross is involved in the evacuation of people

The Myrnohrad emergency response team of the Ukrainian Red Cross is participating in the centralised evacuation of people in the Donetsk region. Last week, volunteers, in coordination with local authorities, organised the evacuation for those who decided to leave the area under fire. They were transported to an evacuation train in Pokrovsk and then to Dnipro.

In Dnipro, they were met by volunteers from the Dnipro emergency response team of the Ukrainian Red Cross, who assisted the evacuees in reaching temporary shelters for internally displaced persons or their relatives.
