Social Clothing Repair Shop operates in Yuzhnoukrainsk

The sewing room is located at the Yuzhnoukrainsk city centre of the Mykolaiv regional branch of the Ukrainian Red Cross. A professional tailor is available to repair your favourite clothes. Many vulnerable individuals have already benefited from, and continue to receive, clothing repair services – from shortening jeans to fixing zippers. 

Svitlana, a tailor at the sewing room, shares her experience: “The realisation that I can help people is an incredible feeling. I see how happy they are when they receive their repaired or recycled clothes. Besides, I am a very sociable person and love interacting with people. Volunteering with the Ukrainian Red Cross brings me great joy. Everyone here feels like family, and I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to contribute to such a good cause and be part of this large and friendly Red Cross family, which I love with all my heart.”
