Participation in the response to the attack on Kharkiv on 30 August 2024
Kharkiv. The response to the aftermath of yesterday’s attack on the city is ongoing. According to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, there are 97 people injured and 7 dead, including a child.
The Kharkiv emergency response team of the Ukrainian Red Cross conducted door-to-door visits to the damaged buildings to identify those affected and provided first aid and psychological first aid to the injured. The volunteers also evacuated residents from the damaged buildings and assisted ambulance staff in transporting the injured to vehicles for further hospitalisation.
