In the Kherson region, the Ukrainian Red Cross team assists with water supply
The situation with the water supply is critical in many towns and villages in the Kherson region. In some areas, there is either no water available or the water that is available is not safe for drinking. To address this, the Ukrainian Red Cross team is installing water treatment plants and essential equipment to ensure access to clean drinking water.
A preliminary laboratory analysis revealed that the water quality in one of the villages in the Kherson district was significantly below sanitary and hygienic standards, making it unsuitable even for technical use. To resolve this, volunteers conducted the necessary preparatory work, delivered the equipment, installed a water treatment plant, and initiated the purification process. As a result, the local population now has access to high-quality drinking water.
